Weekly Photo Challenge 2017: Project 52
Happy New Year! It is time to put together a list of weekly photo challenges for this year. I enjoyed the challenge so much last year that I am really excited to start all over again.
This time around I made a list that I can go through in order. I assigned a specific topic for each week, weeks 1 through 52. My hope is that it will be easier to start taking pictures each week since the decision of what to focus on will already be made. (Last year I had a group of 52 topics and each week I would choose which one to do. It was easy to wait too long to decide what to do and then not have much time to get a good photo.) A few items on my list are carried over from the last list either because I really like the topic or because I want to improve my skills. I have also included some video challenges in my list, like making a cinemagraph.
Here is my list for the year; I hope that it helps motivate you to get out and use your camera. Use it for inspiration and then go make a list for yourself based on your own interests.

Break the Rules: If you do not like the topic for the week, try to get a good photo that breaks one of the basic rules in photography… Take a great photo that incorporates an uneven horizon, sun flare, camera shake, bad crop, subject out of focus, too much flash, or using the wrong lens.
